Prospective Students

At undergraduate level, we offer BSc Economics (L100) and BSc Economics with a Year Abroad (L101).

Our undergraduate programmes are grounded in research-based education, informed by the outstanding research of our economics professors and our Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) which is at the forefront of new, innovative techniques to teach economics which are directly reflected in the Department’s teaching.

At UCL Economics, we’re looking for students who are curious about economics and how it applies to the wider world around them. We give you the knowledge and tools to ask the right questions and find the answers, preparing you for a range of careers and further study in Economics.

You'll automatically join the official Department society when you become a UCL Economics student. They take an active role in organising both academic and social events and conferences. Past speakers include Mark Carney, Lars Peter Hansen and Vicky Price. Follow them on Instagram.
