We are offering two full-time permanent Lectureships; one in Earth Sciences that complements and/or extends our existing strengths and one in the area of experimental ice and rock physics for the environment.
Lectureship in Earth Sciences
The successful candidates will be expected to pursue research of international quality that enhances, complements and/or extends current activity in the Department of Earth Sciences, and to provide academic leadership in the development of their subject area. It is also expected that the post-holder will contribute to all aspects of the academic life of the Department and College including teaching and enabling. Details
Lectureship in Experimental Ice and Rock Physics for the Environment
In particular we are looking for someone with experience to make use of our state-of-art ice deformation facility alongside our other experimental laboratories. We also wish for the successful candidate to complement our existing climate related activity including our polar observation and modelling strengths. Details
