Molecular Interactions Facility

The UCL Molecular Interactions Facility has its own on-site instrumentation in terms of two analytical ultracentrifuges (AUC), surface plasmon resonance (Biacore X100) and dual polarisation interferometry (DPI), plus protein purification facilities.

ISMB Protein Crystallography and Biophysics Centre

The UCL/Birkbeck ISMB Protein Crystallography and Biophysics Centre has a variety of equipment is available for sample characterisation and optimisation, crystallisation, crystal monitoring as well as for equilibrium and kinetic studies of proteins, nucleic acids, small molecules and their interactions.

Fish Facility

The UCL zebrafish facility is currently comprised of four separate multi-rack systems and several standalone and bench top systems housed in five separate rooms.

UCLH Neurogenetics Laboratory

This laboratory conducts ground-breaking research on Neurogenetics and Rare Diseases with expertise in long-read sequencing and identification of repeat disease genes and hosts a DNA bank that holds over 110,000 samples.
