From both our university and external funders, there are many scholarship and funding opportunities available for students wishing to undertake a master’s degree at UCL Institute for Global Prosperity. IGP Equity Fund
- Key information and eligibility
Value: £5000 towards tuition fees
Available to: Prospective students
Selection criteria: Educational, personal and financial circumstances
Eligible students: UK domiciled with home fee status
Deadline: 11.59pm (BST), 30 June 2024Eligible candidates must:
1) Be domiciled in the UK with home fee status;
2) Hold an offer of admission to study on one of the below IGP postgraduate programmes*:- Global Prosperity MSc
- Prosperity, People and Planet MSc
- Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship MSc
3) And meet the additional criteria below:
- be from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background;**
* IGP Scholarship cannot be deferred, those awarded will need to take up their offer of study in the stated academic year in order to receive the scholarship.
** We define Minority Ethnic background as those of a non-white heritage and individuals of mixed-heritage who self-identify as also coming from a Minority Ethnic background.Two awards are available for the academic year 2024-25.

UCL East London Scholarship
The UCL East London Scholarship works to support the ambitions of east Londoners by funding the fees and living costs of eligible Master's programmes at UCL. Applicants to both the Prosperity, People and Planet MSc and Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship MSc are eligible for this scholarship.

The Bartlett Promise UK Master's Scholarship
This scholarship aims to enable UK students from backgrounds underrepresented in the UCL Institute for Global Proserity's faculty, The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, to pursue master's studies.
Scholarship application window: 1 March to 31 May 2024 | Please note: to be eligible for The Bartlett Promise Master’s Scholarship, candidates must have an offer of admission to a Bartlett master’s course.

The Bartlett Promise Sub-Saharan Africa Master’s Scholarship
This scholarship is open to applicants who are nationals and residents of Sub-Saharan African countries who have admission to a master’s programme in our faculty, The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment.
Scholarship application window: 15 February to 3 April 2024 | Please note: to be eligible for The Bartlett Promise Sub Saharan Africa Master’s Scholarship, candidates must have an offer of a place on a Bartlett master’s course.

UCL Masters Bursary
UCL's Masters Bursary aims to enable and encourage those from low-income backgrounds, who have gained a UCL undergraduate degree, to pursue full-time Master's degree studies at UCL.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme
The aim of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) is to assist students from developing Commonwealth countries who are of excellent academic calibre but for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to afford to study in the United Kingdom. The scheme allows them to benefit from postgraduate study at a university in the United Kingdom which will help them to contribute toward the development of their home countries.
This award is only available to students applying to our Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship MSc.

Chevening Scholarship
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential. Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree.

The Bartlett Promise PhD Scholarship
The Bartlett Promise aims to enable students from backgrounds underrepresented in The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment to pursue a PhD at The Bartlett.
Applications for the 2024/25 academic year will open on 1 February 2024.

UCL’s Research Excellence Scholarship (UCL-RES) is our new prestigious scholarship which aims to attract outstanding scholars to undertake doctoral research at UCL. We are offering up to 40 fully funded UCL Research Excellence Scholarships (RES) to exceptional applicants from any country. Both prospective and current UCL doctoral students can apply.
