Institute for Global Prosperity Equity Fund
At the Institute for Global Prosperity, we educate the problem solvers of the future. Our degrees equip ambitious, entrepreneurial students with new approaches to prosperity, helping them to become future transition leaders.

The Bolashak Scholarship are offered by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enabling high-achieving students from Kazakhstan to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate study at top universities around the world.UCL offers a contribution worth 10% of the tuition fee to Masters scholars who are awarded a Bolashak Scholarship.

The Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) offers scholarships for Thai students at UCL, consisting of tuition fees and a stipend. UCL part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with ANID (National Agency for Research and Development). These awards are available for PhD and Master's programmes. Fulbright Scholarships
UCL part-funds awards each year in conjunction with the prestigious Fulbright Scholarships. These awards finance young US who can engage with the UK in an atmosphere of openness, academic integrity and intellectual freedom, thereby promoting mutual understanding. UCL offers 100% of the tuition fee and a maintenance allowance to one postgraduate taught scholar per year who is sponsored by Fulbright under their standard postgraduate award programme.For further information on the application process, please refer to the Fulbright website.
Marshall Scholarships
UCL part-funds awards each year in conjunction with the prestigious Marshall Scholarships. These awards finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the UK for either one or two years at the postgraduate taught level. UCL’s Research Excellence Scholarship (UCL-RES) is our new prestigious scholarship which aims to attract outstanding scholars to undertake doctoral research at UCL. We are offering up to 40 fully funded UCL Research Excellence Scholarships (RES) to exceptional applicants from any country. Both prospective and current UCL doctoral students can apply.

- UBEL Doctoral Training Partnership Studentships - Science, Technology, Prosperity and Innovation pathway
The pathway is highly interdisciplinary, spanning social and natural sciences, arts and humanities, and engineering. The departments that contribute to the pathway all seek to solve global, real-world challenges and problems and to design new context-specific modes of governance. The pathway addresses the ESRC politics and governance priority, interacts with multiple UBEL pathways and groups and has extensive international partnerships.
Funding is available for the following programmes of study at UCL Institute for Global Prosperity:
- A 1+3 structure that includes a MSc in Global Prosperity degree with appropriate methods training to support doctoral studies, plus a dissertation designed to consolidate students’ learning and provide the opportunity to pilot a PhD project.
- A +3 structure, which will be offered on a case-by-case basis where applicants are able to provide evidence of previous qualifications demonstrating the skills covered in the core modules of the MSc programme.
