The 15th Roman Archaeology Conference / 32nd Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference will be held at UCL from 11-14 April 2024.

Organised by a committee representing the breadth of Roman archaeology across London institutions, the joint conference features nearly 40 sessions encompassing the major themes of Roman studies today, including new scientific applications, decentering and decolonizing Roman archaeology, globalization and materiality, and archaeological ethics.

The conference is in-person only, but is designed to be inclusive and accessible.

To mark the start of the conference, the Antiquity Journal has put together a free to access collection of Roman archaeology papers containing the latest research in the archaeology of the Roman world.
