Newly launched: EAST Autumn School

Following up on the success of the EAST Summer School, the first ever EAST Autumn School is launching today on 25 November 2020. It is bringing another exciting programme for east London young people of opportunities to learn, have fun and make new friends.
The EAST Autumn School is for young people aged 15–18 who live in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest, and are interested in materials and making, art and design, or science, technology and engineering.
The one-off online workshops are brought by the UCL Institute of Making, which will open a new space on UCL East campus in 2023.
The workshops are hands-on, interactive and creative, and explore a wide range of making and materials aspects - including 3D design for animation, designing from waste, customising reusable face masks and prototyping home-made, recycled sneakers!
