Listen & Respond: 10 participatory projects in east London awarded funding

29 July 2020

Working closely with UCL Culture, the Volunteering Service and Innovation and Enterprise, we have helped fund a series of projects connecting UCL staff and students with community organisations, around an issue resulting from Covid-19.

Earlier this month, our colleagues at UCL Culture awarded funding to a number of rapid response projects connecting UCL staff and students with community organisations, around an identified issue resulting from Covid-19.

Meeting our vision of being a publicly-engaged university, and building an open, accessible and publicly-engaged campus in east London, this work is aligning with UCL’s commitment to making a difference to London and Londoners.

The academics involved in these projects come from across UCL and the faculties and departments working on our plans for UCL East, including the Institute for Global Prosperity, the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, the Institute of Education, and the Anthropology department.
