Dr Michael Whiteley, Director of Strategic Alliances - Advanced Propulsion Lab, explains how hydrogen fuel cell technology can be a powerful way to reduce carbon emissions, as UCL becomes the first UK university to host a hydrogen fuel cell production car.

The Advanced Propulsion Lab (APL) at UCL East will champion and develop new propulsion technologies and drive forward materials discovery to create the next generation of battery and fuel cell vehicles. This world-class global research centre will lead the way towards a cleaner, greener carbon-free transport sector.
