Translational Research Office (TRO)

Project Management

The UCL Translational Research Office provides supportive project management for successfully granted awards.

Working closely with the lead academic and the project team, the TRG uses processes, knowledge and experience to formulate the project plan for the application, monitor and control the project to ensure it remains in scope, resolve issues that may occur, and assist with liaising and reporting to the funder.

We also support the procurement, contracting and management of outsourced work and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.

Key activities include:

  • Ensure focus on milestone objectives to achieve goals and meet success criteria at the specified time.
  • Manage budget and timelines to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Assess and manage risk to mitigate project issues.

Please contact us if you need help managing your project.
