7 April 2020

Created by UCL Library Services, it provides guidance on digital resources and connects students to experts who can provide research advice.

Whilst studying at UCL, students have access to extensive online collections and research support from Library Services staff.

New guide

In response to COVID-19, the team has created a new dissertations and research projects guide. The guide:

  • Links to online skills content on literature searching, referencing and reference management.

  • Provides guidance on how to identify online resources and collections for your specific discipline, including primary sources. These include content subscribed to by UCL Library Services, digital collections available through UCL Special Collections, online content from other libraries, and open access resources that are freely available on the web.

  • Provides a number of ways to contact our staff for help with research.

Increase in books and resources available digitally

In addition, the team are also actively adding to their digital collections as books are requested by students. Publishers are also making content temporarily available during the pandemic.

These are listed on the E-resources temporarily available guide and are also discoverable on Explore.
