Aims of the workshop:

  1. Inclusive Partnerships: Learn to create inclusive educational partnerships with marginalised students, managing power dynamics and promoting wellbeing.
  2. Effective Collaboration: Enhance collaboration skills with students, emphasising transparent planning, clear roles, and ongoing communication.
  3. Empower Marginalised Voices: Prioritise and amplify marginalised voices within your partnership initiatives, celebrating their contributions and fostering equitable engagement.

Intended learning outcomes:

  1. Recognise and prioritise marginalised perspectives, implementing strategies to empower and celebrate their contributions in partnership initiatives.
  2. Acquire practical skills for effective collaboration, including transparent planning, role definition, and communication strategies when working with students.
  3. Develop the skills and strategies to foster inclusive partnerships that prioritise marginalized voices, manage power dynamics, and promote wellbeing throughout the project cycle.
