UCL Arena Centre are delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL who teach and support students.

Personal tutoring is about supporting students’ learning during their time at UCL.

Personal tutors have a vital role to play during remote and social distance teaching, whether it’s a general chat to make sure students are on track with their studies or working with them to find solutions to a difficulty they need help with.

This session looks at the essentials of:

  • what UCL personal tutoring involves, and how this can be adapted to remote environments
  • case studies and scenarios to think through ways to manage challenging situations
  • support and resources will be signposted throughout the session

UCL Connected Learning Live Events

This is part of a series of short live sessions to complement the UCL Connected Learning Essentials Staff Development Course. It aligns with Section 2 of the Connected Learning Essentials course, on Securing Student Engagement.
