Dr Caroline Garaway, UCL Anthropology, is delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL who create assessments and provide feedback to students.
In this session you will hear how UCL Anthropology improved their National Student Survey (NSS) assessment and feedback scores; from stubbornly low scores, to now averaging over 70% in overall satisfaction over a three year period.
You will hear how this approach can be adapted to your own department and take part in a Q&A.
This workshop will:
- present UCL Anthropology's approach to improving assessment and feedback
- explain how assessment and feedback can impact your students' experience, and;
- discuss how this can be adapted to your own department and discipline

- understand the impact of assessment and feedback on your students' experience
- understand ways implement in your own department
