28 Days of Sustainability 2024

Join us for 28 Days of Sustainability 2024, a month-long programme packed with events organised by our staff and students.

Throughout the ‘28 Days of Sustainability’ campaign, our aim is to provide a friendly, safe and inclusive space for students and staff to discuss challenging topics relating to our sustainability research, network and exchange ideas.

Join us in encouraging participation in Green Impact and LEAF (to make our offices and labs sustainable) and to collectively celebrate the remarkable achievements of the UCL community. Together we can make Change Possible!

Week 1: 12th February - 18th February

• Monday 12th February: Follow Sustainable UCL on social media and sign-up to our newsletters to receive updates on 28 Days of Sustainability.
• Tuesday 13th February: Register for forthcoming events to make sure you reserve your place and put a reminder in your calendar.
• Wednesday 14th February: Love Your Planet event, 10:00 - 18:00, Logan Hall, 20 Bedford Way.
• Thursday 15th February: Environmenstrual Workshop from the Women's Environment Network, 11:00 - 12:00, Room 104, 21 Gordon Square. 
• Friday 16th February: Repair Cafe, 12:00 - 16:00, MechSpace, Wicklow Street, Kings Cross.
• Saturday 17th February: Listen to the Generation One podcast to learn about Climate Change and COPs. 
• Sunday 18th February: The Giant London Flea Market, 10:00 - 17:00, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Multi-Storey Car Park (non-UCL event).

Week 2: 19th February - 25th February

• Sunday 3rd March: World Wildlife Day - go for a walk in nature, and read the resources on the World Wildlife Day website on how to get involved.
