Feel powerless when it comes to climate breakdown? Did you know that by switching your bank account to a Green Bank you can withdraw millions of pounds of funding from fossil fuel support, even if you have £0 in your account ?

At this workshop you will learn more about the role that banks play in keeping the planet dependent on Fossil fuels so they can make a profit. How they use their customer’s money (i.e yours) to do this and how you as a customer can get them to change.

You will learn how to make the easy switch to a green bank and find the support you might need through the process.

This workshop is organised by UCL Climate Activist Network (UCL CAN) and will be delivered collaboratively by Student Organising for Sustainability UK (https://www.sos-uk.org/), Switch It Green (https://www.switchit.green) and Tipping Point UK (https://tippingpointuk.org/).
