New PGCert for Performing Arts Medicine

We have added a new Postgraduate Certificate in Performing Arts Medicine. The PGCert will include four modules on Touring and Travel of the Performer, Performance Psychology, Assessment of the Professional Voice and Science of Music and Dance.

The Postgraduate Certificate can be taken as full-time (one day per week for two semesters over one year) or part-time (one day per week for one semester over two years) and the entry criteria have been extended to psychologists, speech therapists and performance scientists.

The Certificate will be offered as a campus-based option in 2016-2017 and we are aiming to have available a distance learning option in 2017-2018. For medical professionals, physiotherapists, health scientists etc there will also be an option to upgrade to Diploma or MSc at a later time.
