This course highlights PowerPoint's useful features for research and similar presentations.
Topics covered include some of the following: PowerPoint templates, embedding video, searching for and use of copyright free images, adding diagrams, tables and charts, and setting up live links to content on the web or other software applications, including live data.
The session will begin at pace to introduce specific topics. It is not an introduction to PowerPoint. You are welcome to follow hands-on.
This is a one-hour session delivered remotely.
PREREQUISITES:
Familiarity with the PowerPoint interface is required, e.g. use of menus, formatting text, inserting and deleting slides.
IMPORTANT:
Once you have enrolled, please check that you have received a confirmation email from MyLearning. You will also receive an email with location details at least one day before the session. Any set-up information for the session will be emailed to you in advance.
Please arrive about 5 minutes prior to the start of the course to allow time for logging in and downloading any resources.
