DSD: Make a short film using your iPhone
Course Description:
Recording and editing video on mobile phones has become very easy. During this session you will learn how to plan and storyboard a two-minute film. We will explore the impact of shots including close-up, point of view, etc. You will learn how to successfully record video and how to edit footage, add titles and sound using the 'iMovie' app on an iPhone.

Once you have booked on the course you will be able to access all of the online materials in our Digital Skills Development Moodle course.


Please ensure you are using Desktop@UCL or the UCL VPN when booking because you need to be on the UCL network to use the system.

Once you have enrolled, you will need to click on the play button under 'My current enrolments' in My Learning to join at the time of the live session. You will also receive an email from ISD containing the direct joining link a day before the session. Please check your junk folder as these emails are occasionally tagged as spam.

We would encourage those who are new to Microsoft Teams to join within the first 15 minutes of the advertised start time in order to test out their connection/audio. The actual session will start on the hour.

  • Experience adding transition tiles and working with sound
