DSD: Mentimeter: Encourage online student interaction
Course Description:

Mentimeter is a powerful online questioning tool which can be used to support student interaction and active learning in both synchronous and asynchronous teaching. UCL has a site licence for this tool. Find out more here: Mentimeter Resource Centre.

In this practical workshop you will learn the basics of setting up interactive activities and using the templates on Mentimeter. You will also find out how to embed Mentimeter on a website or a Moodle course and manage student interaction.

Once you have booked on the course you will be able to access all of the online materials in our Digital Skills Development Moodle course.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you are using Desktop@UCL or the UCL VPN when booking because you need to be on the UCL network to use the system.

Once you have enrolled, you will need to click on the play button under 'My current enrolments' in My Learning to join at the time of the live session. You will also receive an email from ISD containing the direct joining link a day before the session. Please check your junk folder as these emails are occasionally tagged as spam.

We would encourage those who are new to Microsoft Teams to join within the first 15 minutes of the advertised start time in order to test out their connection/audio. The actual session will start on the hour.
