Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Assessments

A new student briefing has been published on the current student’s website which staff may also find useful to read and link to students. It is also linked to from the Assessment success guide and highlighted on the Academic Integrity section.

Please note: that UCL is currently agreeing an approach to detecting misuse of AI. In the meantime staff are advised not to use any third party AI checking tools due to potential inaccuracy of results and legal issues. Where misuse of AI is suspected staff can make use of the Investigatory Viva process to help establish authorship.
