The Tamer Scholarship is to enable a student from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or a national of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia currently based in another country to pursue BA Media at UCL.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- Nationals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
- be eligible to pay the overseas fee rate;
- come from a low income background;
- AND have submitted an admission application for a full-time BA Media programme at UCL in 2024/25.
Value, benefits, and duration
The award provides approximately £53,000 per year for a three year BA Media programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award will be applied to cover tuition fees first and the rest will be paid as maintenance allowance.
One award is available for 2024/25.
Selection
The criterion for awarding the scholarship is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.

Results
The Tamer Scholarship will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified by early June 2024.
