Support for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in Microbiology
- ECR representative
Our Microbiology@UCL ECR chair is Lucy van Dorp.
We are always looking for new ECRs to be involved with the Domain as ECR reps. If interested, please get in touch.
- Opportunities
Get involved with the Domain
All ECRs interested in microbiology are invited to join our mailing list by sending a request to microbiology@ucl.ac.uk
We are always looking to build our ECR community with the support of an ECR rep, who can help with our social media and ECR-related events. Come help build our ECR community and find new ways to support them! If you are interested in becoming an ECR rep for Microbiology@UCL, please get in touch.
Present your research at an event
ECRs are highly encouraged to present their research related to microbiology at our Annual Symposia. Find out more at our past event page.
Congratualtions to Microbiology@UCL ECRs who gave research talks at the UCL-wide Festival of Early Stage Researchers in January 2021, a week of online activities and seminars themed around developing researcher identity, researcher wellbeing, career pathways, leadership and research culture.
If you would like to present your research or are interested in helping to organise these events, email microbiology@ucl.ac.uk
