A guide to UCL researchers about the best way to approach bibliometric measures, and how to interpret and use such findings, especially in relation to the developing UCL bibliometrics policy and the wider context, has been established by the UCL Bibliometrics Working Group.
UCL currently subscribes to Web of Science (WoS), an online scientific database of publications and citation indexing, and InCites, a citation-based evaluation tool to analyze institutional productivity and benchmarking. This workshop, delivered by Clarivate Analytics, is aimed at academics, researchers, librarians, as well as research support managers and anyone who is interested in research evaluation; it will explore what bibliometrics and citation-based evaluation tools could offer at different stages of your career and at different levels in a research-intensive university.
Speakers (Clarivate Analytics): Rachel Mangan &
Lea Lipitakis
Introduction (UCL): Paul Aris, Pro-Vice-Provost (UCL Library Services)
