Professional Skills Module as part of the CDT training programme
Students of the CDT attended Professional Skills Development training at the University of Nottingham. The training module was intended for CDT students in the second and third year of the Doctoral Training Programme.
Training week January 2015 held at University of Nottingham School of Pharmacy
A CDT training week was held at the School of Pharmacy at University of Nottingham from the 26th till the 29th of January. The event was dedicated to the 2014 cohort of the CDT in Advanced Therapeutics and Nanomedicines. Students had the opportunity to present their research and share with each other their experience of the first 3-month training project.
The CDT research sandpit: brainstorming session for new PhD research projects
Students from the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Advanced Therapeutics and Nanomedicines joined academics and industry representatives on this two-day ‘sandpit’ event hosted at UCL School of Pharmacy in November, 2014. The purpose of the event was to stimulate the generation of exciting, innovative, and multi-disciplinary PhD projects.
Autumn Colloquium October 2014 held at University of Nottingham School of Pharamcy
Current students from the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) participated in the CDT Colloquium 2014, which included the presence of both academics and industrial partners.
Training week April 2014 and visit to GlaxoSmithKline
The 2013 cohort from the Centre for Doctoral Training participated in a training week held at the UCL School of Pharmacy from 28th April to 2nd May 2014.
