Research Integrity

“Excellence and integrity are inextricably linked” Foreword to the concordat (2012)

The UCL Code of Conduct for Research states that UCL is committed to maintaining the integrity and probity of academic research. UCL regards it as fundamental that research should be conducted, and the results of research disseminated, honestly, accurately and in accordance with professional standards.

High standards are essential for ensuring the highest quality research as well as the continued trust and confidence in research, individual researchers, UCL as an institution and the research community as a whole.

All those involved with research at UCL are expected to read and abide by the Code of Conduct for Research, the General Code of Ethical Principles and the Principles of Integrity set out in the UCL Statement on Research Integrity.
