HerBioma wins 2nd place at UCL EXPLORE Program

Alessia Favaron, final year PhD student in Pharmaceutics, secures second place with her innovative business idea, HerBioma, at the UCL 'Explore your Entrepreneurial Idea' program.
The 'EXPLORE your Entrepreneurial Idea' programme at UCL Innovation and Enterprise represents a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to develop a business idea. In this last edition of the program, Alessia Favaron, a final-year PhD student, won second place a the pitching competition with HerBioma, a venture that aims to harness microbiome science for hormonal balance. The venture proposed the creation of microbiota-based health solutions, based on rigorous scientific research and consumer education.
