Traditional Medicine: Inspired Drug Discovery for Some Modern Day Diseases

We will welcome Professor Leslie Gunatilaka on Thursday 3rd Sept 2015 at 2:00pm (MLT).  Professor Leslie Gunatilaka, Director of the Natural Products Center at the  University of Arizona, will be giving a talk entitled "Traditional Medicine: Inspired Drug Discovery for Some Modern Day Diseases". His major research interests include natural products science focusing on innovative strategies for the discovery and development of small-molecule natural products for agricultural and pharmaceutical applications; bioactive natural products from plants, plant- and lichen-associated microorganisms.
