Professor Robert J Harvey and Professor Kirsten Harvey are joining an international faculty at the 13th ISN Advanced School 2015 from 19th-23rd August 2015. The Advanced School will precede the 25th ISN-APSN Joint Biennial Meeting in Cairns and will be held at Fitzroy Island, within the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland.
The topic of the School will be 'Synaptopathies
- synaptic molecules with clinical implications' covering neurochemistry and molecular/cellular
neurobiology and translational neuroscience.
The
Advanced School is open to young scientists (graduate students and
young postdocs up to four years after graduation). Students
will be selected by the ISN Advanced School Committee based on their
achievements, recommendation letters and letters of intent.
Successful applicants will be supported by the ISN to attend the School including accommodation and transfer to the main meeting in Cairns. A limited number of travel grants will also be available.
