We have extensive experience of working with the media across TV, radio and online platforms, through providing expert opinion, presenting programmes and supporting the development of content and initial ideas.

We work extensively with the BBC with our staff having presented on and supported programmes such as the long-running Sky at Night, Horizon, Radio 4 Today and In Our Time programmes, as well as blockbuster series such as Stargazing Live and the Planets. These programmes are often broadcast both in the UK and to international audiences. We also work behind the scenes, with members of the department having been awarded Media Fellowships through the British Science Association, which enable us to develop a deep understanding of how the media work whilst establishing enduring relationships
