We cater for imaging research across the entire pipeline, from pre-clinical, through translational first-in-man studies, to large multi-centre pragmatic studies of high technology platforms within the NHS. Thereby, our work impacts directly on national guidance and patient care.
The Department of Imaging was established in 2019 to consolidate the imaging research that was previously spread across multiple centers from the UCL Division of Medicine. Today, we are formed of four centres.
Our work
We cater for imaging research across the entire pipeline, from pre-clinical, through translational first-in-man studies, and culminating in large multi-centre pragmatic studies of high technology platforms within the NHS. Thereby, we impact directly on national guidance and patient care.

Pre-clinical platforms (Centre of Advanced Biomedical Imaging).
Translational and established clinical platforms (Centre for Medical Imaging).
A wide range of radiopharmaceutical tracers (Centre for Radiopharmeceutical Chemistry).
