Student testimonial - Masud Miah
Miah benefitted from an old UCAS process called Adjustment and says the course has developed his all-round skills that would be valuable for any future career.

I am currently a third-year BSc Applied Medical Sciences student and will hopefully graduate in 2022.
In my spare time, I enjoy trying to keep active, by running or cycling around London, and cooking / baking.
One of the best decisions I made was applying to UCL via adjustment.
(Adjustment was a UCAS process that allowed you to look for places on courses with higher entry requirements if you got better grades than you expected. This ended in 2022.)
Even though the process seemed daunting at first, UCL offered great communication and answered any queries or concerns I had.
Since joining the course, I have developed my analytical skills and research abilities.
The course focuses a lot on developing your transferable skills, such as public speaking and teamwork. This would be valuable for any future career pathway you may opt for.
The course has helped me develop a key interest in global health policy and has allowed me to tailor the course to what I enjoy.
