UCL has launched two new training modules for staff and students on how to disclose and manage conflicts of interest and intellectual property
UCL has launched two new training modules for staff and students:
1. Disclosing and managing conflicts of interest at UCL
2. Understanding and protecting intellectual property (IP)
UCL's new online disclosure-of-conflicts training will help you understand how to recognise, disclose and manage conflicts of interest in your day-to-day role. It clarifies how to deal with any conflicts that may arise in relation to your role at UCL. The training supports UCL’s Disclosure of Conflict and Declaration of Interest Policy, which you also should refer to. The ‘UCL Manage Conflicts and Declare Interests’ system has also been developed to enable UCL staff to disclose conflicts and declare interests.
All staff and doctoral students must complete this mandatory training before the end of July 2021.

UCL's new online IP training is designed to help you understand how IP is owned, managed and used at UCL, and how this applies to your role.
This training is recommended for all UCL staff and students and supports UCL’s IP Policy, which you should refer to for more information.
