Library services remain available, wherever you are based
25 January 2021
Reminder of Library Services’ provision for library users during Term 2.

Some library buildings and study spaces remain open for certain students (as detailed in the message from the Provost) and staff although onsite services will be reduced.
Online resources
We continue to provide a wide range of online resources for all students and staff to access 24/7. You can also access essential reading through ReadingLists@UCL or request digitised chapters of our print books through the Library’s Scan and Send service.
If you have any questions or need more support with using online resources, you can contact Library staff through the online Library chat service or access online Library Skills training.
On-campus services
Some library sites remain open for those students and staff who need to work on campus (see those exemptions outlined in our 2 January announcement). These facilities are also open to those students who stayed in London over the winter break or returned before restrictions were announced, who are advised to remain here and not travel home again.
You can book study spaces in some of our libraries and spaces. Opening Hours may be different from previous terms.
Staff and students can also make Scan and Send requests and Click and Collect orders for items held at the Main, Science and IOE libraries, as well as request items from our stores.
Other library sites remain closed and on site services suspended.
Please check the Library Service Updates webpage for the most current information.
