History

In the mid-1920s, the Burham Committee reviewed the routes for teacher training and recommended that teachers have the opportunity to obtrain a liberal education at university level before undertaking training. This collection of prospectuses are useful sources to gauge whether the recommendations were taken on board and to study how teachers were trained. They include the pre-entry requirements, timetables, curriculum, names of the lecturers and heads, and have images of the grounds and rooms.
