The JRO has reminded investigators of a series of urgent actions they need to take ahead of the launch of UCLH’s Electronic Health Record System – Epic – to ensure research activity isn’t negatively impacted at go-live on 31 March 2019.

Principal Investigators on studies need to send their patient lists to uclh.randd@nhs.net by 26 January. Any queries can be sent to Pushpsen.joshi1@nhs.net.

All staff involved in research need to ensure they have been assigned the correct training programme and that they book onto sessions – ideally this weekUclh.epictraining@nhs.netcan respond to any queries.

Staff who do not have a UCLH Electronic Staff Record – if they have not received an e-mail from the JRO – should speak to the UCLH honorary contracts team or their Divisional Manager. Researchers with research passports will be contacted by the JRO before the end of January.

The JRO’s advice on training requirements for each staff group is reproduced below.
