The new institute will bring together UCL and its partner hospitals with industry to advance new medicines and medical technology innovations.
Precision medicine, sometimes called personalised medicine, is a move away from a 'one size fits all' approach to treatment. It used an individual's genetic profile to guide decisions about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
