UCLH continues to reach study initiation target

UCLH reported 80.

5% of studies having reached the 70 day target for initiation of studies in the quarter October-December 2014. This compares to 72.7% in the preceding quarter and 57.3% in the quarter before that .

As a result UCLH has successfully delivered the NIHR requirement to demonstrate "dramatic and sustained improvements" in the initiation of clinical trials set by Professor Dame Sally Davies in June 2014. Initial data for January-March 2015 indicates that improvements in performance continue.
