CCTU team scoops Pharma Times award

Congratulations to Kylie Gyertson, Shivali Trivedi and Amy Smith from the UCLH Cancer Clinical Trials Unit who were honoured at the PharmaTimes International Clinical Researcher of the Year competition this month.
The team picked up the Clinical Researcher of the Year bronze award in the NHS clinical research site category at an awards ceremony in Trafalgar Square.
The team had previously completed a 20 question test on clinical trial regulations and submitted an essay in response to a research scenario created by the steering group.
In the next stage they were given one hour to create a 20 minute presentation in response to a second scenario. They presented to a judging panel and faced questions.
The NHS clinical research site category is jointly sponsored by the National Institute for Health Research and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.
