UCLH performance in initiating research

UCLH performance in reducing timelines to initiating research studies continues to improve.
The latest submission ranks UCLH 18th out of 53 NHS providers, and 2nd out of the largest NHS providers, for studies approved and recruiting patients within the NIHR target of 70 days.
The data demonstrates UCLH performance is increasing at a rate faster than that of comparable trusts.
The NIHR report is made up of information from 53 NHS trusts holding NIHR BRC funding contracts. Further information on the contract requirements and performance of each trust can be found on the NIHR Central Commissioning Facility website.
