Clinical Research Facility update
12 September 2013
There have been some important developments in the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) in recent weeks.
Following Professor William Rosenberg's resignation from the CRF Director post, Professor Bryan Williams has taken on the CRF Director role in the interim. Professor Williams is being supported in this role by Dr Nick McNally.
The day-to-day operations of the Clinical Research Facility continue to be overseen by Caroline Cook (caroline.cook@uclh.nhs.uk). Caroline will be able to answer any questions staff have about either the support for existing studies already adopted by the CRF or the process for applying for adoption for new clinical studies.
It is anticipated several appointments to key CRF posts will be made by the first week of October, including several research nurse posts and a portfolio manager for medicine studies. Additionally, recruitment will start for a healthcare assistant to support nursing staff.
