Nurse-led research poster competition

Submissions are welcomed from nurses and midwives of all levels from UCL and UCLH. Posters can be based on the work of research or audit. This is an opportunity to showcase the work that has been done by UCL and UCLH nurses.

Abstracts must be within one of the five research themes:

• clinical leadership and quality

• infection

• women's health

•integrated care

•cancer.

A winning poster will be selected from each research theme and a prize of £200 awarded to the winner/winning team.

The competition panel for this year will be:

• Poster Competition Chair: Professor Lesley Baillie - Florence Nightingale Foundation Chair in Clinical Nursing

• Professor Rebecca Jester, Head of Department for Adult Nursing and Midwifery Studies at London Southbank University

• Professor Sue Procter, Professor of Clinical Nursing Practice at Buckinghamshire New University

• Mr Paul Fish, Deputy Chief Nurse at UCLH.

The team will be reviewing all submissions and giving feedback to all participants. They will also be at the conference on the 20 February 2014 to present the winners with their prizes.
