Workshop on PPI and improving recruitment

The workshop, which is open to researchers and lay people, looks at how actively involving patients and the public can help researchers improve recruitment. The aim is to provide an in-depth exploration of the powerful way in which involving people in the design and development of research studies can impact on recruitment to trials and studies.

When and where?

The workshop is on Wednesday 13 February, 9.30-1pm in UCL at 16 Taviton Street, London WC1H 0BW.

Who is running the event?

Derek Stewart is a patient advocate and activist with over ten years experience of involving people in research. The course is supported by Macmillan Cancer Support and the NIHR University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre and is designed as generic and unconditional.
