UCLH runs cancer clinical trials course

16 April 2013

UCLH is organising a cancer clinical trials course for nurses, trial practitioners and research assistants on 7-12 May 2013.

The course has been developed to meet the educational needs of staff working with patients on clinical trials with and without a clinical background.

The course aims to develop the knowledge and skills required to become competent in undertaking delegated tasks within the clinical trials setting; and to foster an understanding of high standards of clinical care of patients using evidence based health care to meet the national and Trust standards, policies and frameworks.

Entry requirements

Applicants should be working in a clinical trials environment. This course would suit nurses and clinical trials staff looking after patients on oncology studies and data managers interested in developing their career in that direction.

Cost will be £375 for nurses and £500 for anyone without a clinical background.
