New media competition open to NIHR researchers and trainees
17 July 2012
The NIHR is running a competition to find the best video that enthuses the public about the value of research.
NIHR researchers and trainees are invited to make a short video of no more than 5 minutes long and upload it on to YouTube. They just forward the confirmation email from YouTube and they will be entered into the competition.
There is a prize for the best video of a £250 book token, plus runners up prizes.
Researchers can use pictures, animation, interviews or whatever they need to get their message across. The NIHR is looking for a video that 'engages, informs and enthuses'.
