IRAS e submission launch to be announced

11 July 2012

The date for the National Research Ethics Service and the MHRA electronic submission to go live will be announced shortly, according to the Health Research Authority (HRA).

The HRA, which is carrying out final testing and audit of the code before announcing an actual go-live date, said: 'We must be absolutely confident of a smooth implementation, and also be reassured that applicants and others are ready for the change.'

The HRA has described the move as 'a major change to IRAS and the process for submission to RECs and the MHRA'
