The MHRA inspection of the Royal Free Hampstead has provided helpful and
positive feedback on the oversight systems that the Trust has in place for the
oversight of clinical trials hosted within its clinics.
The inspection took
place between 20 and 22 September and essentially focused on the systems that
the JRO has put in place for the oversight of clinical trials since the last
inspection in 2007. The JRO is now supporting the RFH to demonstrate evidence
of implementation of plans for archiving and quality assurance at the Royal
Free, 2 areas that the MHRA are keen to see developed further.
