Researchers seek clarity about approval processes, according to latest survey
19 December 2011
Investigators and research staff most want the Joint Research Office to give them a single point of contact and to be clear about approval processes, according to our latest survey.
A total of 114 staff from across UCL, UCLH and Royal Free Hampstead completed the survey.
Results showed researchers wanted:
- a single point of contact
- to be certain about exactly which documents they need to provide when making a new project submission for approval
- a clear understanding of the process of approval after making a project submission to the JRO
- an idea of how long the approval process takes.
Launch of the new JRO website has enabled the office to provide researchers with more information. The team of R&D co-ordinators serves as a single point of contact and researchers can find out which coordinator supports their area of research by going to the team list. http://www.ucl.ac.uk/jro/approvals/research-network-coordinators-contact
The website also includes information on:
