If you are interested in working with us, please email us at ioe.businessdevelopment@ucl.ac.uk.

The information below will help you to explore the many ways we work with nurseries, schools, colleges and other education providers.

Early Years

Working with nurseries and other Early Years settings, we provide an Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) route which prepares people to work with babies and very young children.

Our partnerships bring together expertise across the IOE and learning settings to provide an excellent learning experience for our participants.

Primary

Our core PGCE and IOE Lead Partner Direct routes are designed to prepare people to teach across the primary age range, we already work with over 300 primary schools.

Our partnerships bring together knowledge and expertise in primary education to support our outstanding teacher training provision.

Secondary

Covering 18 school subjects on core PGCE and IOE Lead Partner Direct routes, we work with over 200 schools within and beyond London.

The majority of our partnership schools have worked with us for many years and have demonstrated a strong commitment to Initial Teacher Education.

The strength of our partnerships comes from sharing and building on expertise across both the IOE and schools to provide outstanding teacher training provision.

Further Education

Placements in diverse, carefully chosen colleges will allow you to learn from different contexts and be prepared to teach in any Further Education (FE) setting.

We work with a wide range of partners, usually further education colleges or adult education centres, who provide training placements and work with us to deliver joint university and partner taught sessions.

Specialist Partnerships

IOE is home to more than 30 specialist research and education centres offering a wide range of resources to schools, colleges and nurseries.

Research and Consultancy

Our research has two main aims: to address fundamental questions which have a direct bearing on all members of society; and to raise the standard of educational research. We undertake research in partnership with funders and clients ranging from major international research councils to small primary schools.

Our consultancy services include and sometimes combine research, strategy and bespoke training, and are tailored to help you achieve your objectives.

Bespoke CPD

We work with schools, colleges, nurseries and other organisations across the world to develop bespoke CPD training programmes to meet their specific needs, including international PGCE programmes. Contact us at ioe.businessdevelopment@ucl.ac.uk to find out how we can help you.
