Biography
Piers received his BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Brunel University London in 2019. During his 4 year thick sandwich undergraduate degree, he spent 12 months with BAE Systems Submarines as a Systems Engineer, where he worked on a variety of projects within the Combat Systems directorate. Subsequently, Piers took part in an industry sponsored final year project in underwater acoustic digital communications.
Piers joined the UCL EE department in 2019 to start research in to Multi-Static Radar technology with a combination of active and passive nodes. His PhD is an EPSRC ICASE sponsored by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL).
