The UCL Professional Services Awards recognise, celebrate and reward UCL staff who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their roles, contributing to the success of UCL. All UCL staff are invited to nominate themselves or others for an award recognising individuals demonstrating integrity, outstanding service and commitment to UCL.

For the 2019 Awards, the judging panel heard over 200 stories from which they identified 12 individuals and teams to receive the Awards. Wing-Chau Tung, who was the Institute of Health Informatics (IHI) Institute Manager until the end of May, was awarded the Ways of Working, Personal Excellence Award. Wing-Chau was nominated by her colleagues at IHI for being incredibly committed, fair and knowledgeable, bringing sound leadership style and a huge capacity for justice and human compassion to the workplace.

Wing-Chau was a brilliant asset to IHI and we know she will flourish in her new role as Institute Manager at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and wish her every success.

Nominations are now open for the 2020 awards. More information can be found by clicking here
